Welcome to Softlandings, We are situated in the lovely suburb of Torbay, on Auckland's North Shore. We, Gerhard and Linette, pride ourselves on the fact that our B&B is not your run of the mill homestay but truly a total support system where guests becomes clients and are treated like family. Most of our clients are starting a new life in New Zealand and this can be a very emotional time. We understand that many new arrivals need a friendly shoulder to lean on or someone to talk to. We know what you are going through and are there for you having gone through the experience ourselves.

During the more than 12 years we have been running our Bed and Breakfast, we have literally helped more than a thousand families immigrate successfully to New Zealand the ultimate lifestyle country for outdoor living and adventure sport.

Our B & B is handily situated on the bus route and close to schools. We have 4 house PCs for unlimited use by our clients and we have a fast broadband wireless LAN to log onto at no extra cost if you want to bring a laptop. We have a limited number of rooms, but all have Internet Jack points (or are covered by wireless Internet), TV and a small fridge. We also have most of the modern appliances for your comfort and convenience.

Our rates are very competitive and we have a number of options to choose from.

We also have cooking fasciitis and are their fore self-contained.

Our goal is to ensure you get off to a solid start in New Zealand.
